At some point, don't you want to do more than "just make the playoffs" wouldn't it be nice to win 1 freaking post season game?

If they did it would still be 3 years too late.

Yea his saving grace was at least making the playoffs. They'll be lucky to win 7 games lthis year. Bengals are right up there with GB for most disappointing team this year. As bad as they look at 3-6-1, they really should be 2-8. Wow.

If anyone else watched this last Ravens-Bengals game it's clear that Marvin Lewis has pretty much phoned it in. He made 2 horrendous, absurd, and alarming coaching decisions in the 2nd qtr, the type that shows his head isn't even all the way in the game.

It's time.

It's beyond time, but the owner there is retarded, so you never know.

Fire him after this year. If they wish. Its understandable. And i think they make a serious push for Harbaugh. While were at it, how about Tomlin?! Is his seat getting hot yet? The rooneys must be real cool cause most black coaches dont get a long leash. Like Bowles will be fired after this year i presume. Maybe Hue jackson too, though i feel he should get another year.

I would take Hue or Marvin in an instant over Chip

You want to put 2x superbowl winning coach Mike Tomlin in the same sentence with Marvin, who can't win a playoff game?

I think Steelers are winning their division so that's really a moot point, but the Rooney's are more patient than most. Cowher had some down years and they kept him around and he won a SB his last year.

Overall this is a problem NFL owners have, they are too impatient sometimes. When you bring a coach in to your failing franchise, you can't expect overnight success. To me you gotta give a new coach 3 years to install his program, and his people.

As do I, but he had to know with the history that Cleveland has, if things went horribly, he would probably get the boot, and he probably will.

Hue Jax isn't getting fired. Everything right now for Cleveland is going according to plan.

Going 0-fer in a season where there is no luck or RG3 at the end of the rainbow is nobody's plan.

Yeah, hes no where near Marvin level. But Marvin should have been gone a long time ago and Payton on the hot seat.

You cant lose a must win at home, to a rookie qb, team down 3 TEs, starting LT, and both starting CBs in the 2nd half. Marvin Lewis is pathetic.
