i think its fair to speculate what exactly Wilder thought he was getting himself into vs Fury. but at the end of the day when i compare both resumes and i want to pick out the 2 best names from either resume, im picking out Fury and Ortiz, both from Wilders resume.

Let’s be honest, very few gave Fury any kind of chance after the time off. Wilder got him at a good time and doesn’t land a punch on the Fury Wlad fought. Old Wlad>Old Ortiz

Ortiz is a good fighter who isnt fighting to his age currently. Wlad looked every bit of 40+ in losing to Fury, then was out a while, then came back even older against Joshua. i think Ortiz is a better win considering where Wlad was in his career.

The general consensus was Wlad fought one of his best fights vs AJ. He was a man on a mission after the Fury fight, and would’ve won if he stepped on the gas in the 6th. Wlad wasn’t shot by any means, Fury just makes everyone look bad.

Anyway, citing two opponents to compare resumes is reaching, especially when Wilder really LOST to Fury

i wasnt comparing resumes. i was really particular in not doing that. i think AJs is a bit deeper from top to bottom. but Fury and Ortiz are the 2 best opponents on either resume IMO.

Fair enough. Sounds like AJ might have Ortiz on his list soon if Wilder doesn’t step up. I think Whyte’s a bigger threat at this stage and deserves it more, he’s come on a lot since the first fight. Be funny if Fury decides to jump in

Ya dudes Talking stupid...At the end of the day wen Wilder fought Ortiz and fury the best versions of these guys showed up! That's it man period case closed

Ortiz is a fresh 40 wlad fought like 70 fights....He was washed up and still dropped aj! Furys skill never went anywhere....Dudes just picked wilder cuz they figured fury would lose based on the fact he was inactive for 3 yrs basically

Joshua needs to fight ortiz and fury next....That's the end of it! Doesn't matter wat Wilder Thought or wat any of u guys say!! Fact of the matter is right now today Ortiz and fury are top 4 hws

If aj Doesn't get Wilder than he should be fighting Ortiz or fury man it's simple...Than if he can't get those guys THAN IT CAN BE WHYTE

BUT THE TOP 3 HWS SHOULD BE FIRST AND WHYTR SHOULD BE THE LAST RESORT

Fury knocks Wilder out cold in a rematch and Wilder's camp knows it. He lost like 35 minutes of the 36 possible minutes. Fury hurt and staggered Wilder several times. Took Wilder's best shot, got back up,beat the shit out of Wilder for the rest of the 12th round. In a Fury/Wilder fight,I say Fury stops Joshua in 10. Joshua gases himself out and Fury TKO's him late. Both easy wins for Fury. Fury is really a special fight. I still don't think people understand how special he really is. I've been following boxing for 16 years now and he's top 5 of the best boxers I've ever seen.

I ain't getting schooled by nobody sobrie....Fury is very skilled man he's a tremendous talent! But he's nowhere near a prime klit....Ur trolling making threads saying fury could beat a prime klit man ur nuts :hearty-laugh:

U and Chris b are some real fools!! Talking about wilder and wat he thought...At the end of the day he fought the best names and he beat Ortiz clearly and dropped fury multiple times and won 4 rds in that fight

Wilder got busy and he fought the best hws and never ducked anyone....Like I said let Joshua go fight these dudes now

Did you say Wilder won 4 rounds against Fury?? Okay the two rounds he got the knockdowns,I'll give you. What other 2 rounds was Wilder even close of winning?
