That beautiful time of year in June where Boricuas show up and show out in New York by the thousands. Or if you're like me, not much of a huge crowd person, just gather with a handful of family and just BBQ and get fucked up and have a great family time. But besides all that, there's the business of boxing on this weekend. And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous about Edgar Berlanga. And Xander is out with injury, and he's the one I'm truly sold on, so now it's 100% all on Berlanga. All or nothing. His last fight against Rolls was a step up and I did not view that as a success at all. Now this Angulo guy is supposed to be more of a step up but he's actually supposed to have some power. I'm hopeful, but not 100% confident based on what I've seen.

Berlanga fuckin sucks. No confidence. No heart, no smarts, no chin. Marginal skills.
He has all the tools to be so much better. He just looks like a guy got too much hype, too early, and is still trying the same shit that worked against bums, against better comp. And it aint working.
Going rounds aint bad or the problem, if he was dominating, fighting confident and polished that would be one thing. But he looks shaken up and shook, and its only a matter of time before he gets slept.
Instead lf talkingg about being the next Cotto or Tito, which he should never utter again for quite some time, he is more like the next puertorican Lemieux
